Beer Can World was founded on passion, experience, and a deep appreciation for vintage collectibles. Established in 1979, our business has grown into a trusted name in the world of antique beer cans, serving collectors and sellers across the United States and Canada.



At the heart of Beer Can World is Bill Deluca — better known as “Beer Can Bill” — a lifelong collector with over 47 years of hands-on experience. What started as a childhood hobby has evolved into a respected business dedicated to buying, evaluating, and preserving pieces of brewing history.

Meet Beer Can Bill

Hi, my name is Bill Deluca, and I’ve been collecting beer cans since 1979.

I got my start as a kid growing up in New Jersey, fascinated by the unique designs and history behind old cans. Over the years, that early curiosity turned into a lifelong passion and eventually a full-time pursuit. Today, I’ve been based in Pennsylvania for over two decades, continuing to grow my collection and help others understand the value of what they have.



Collecting isn’t just something I do — it’s something I’ve lived and breathed for nearly five decades. That experience allows me to quickly identify rare finds, evaluate condition, and understand what collectors are truly looking for.


What I Collect & Look For

I’m always searching for old beer and soda cans in top condition. The types I specialize in include:

  • Flat top beer cans
  • Cone top beer cans
  • Early pull tab cans
  • Vintage and antique soda cans
  • Rare and hard-to-find regional cans

Most of the cans I’m interested in were produced between 1935 and the mid-1960s — a golden era for beer can design and manufacturing.


Condition plays a major role in value, which is why I focus on high-quality cans that have been well preserved. However, even if you’re unsure about what you have, I’m always happy to take a look.

Where Valuable Beer Cans Are Found

Many people are surprised to learn where valuable cans turn up. Over the years, I’ve seen incredible finds come from unexpected places.

If you work in construction or renovation, you may come across old cans hidden inside walls. Other common places include:

These cans were often stored away decades ago and left untouched, which sometimes means they’re still in great condition today.
